Our charity sec says...
Charity is a huge part of Dance Society, and throughout the year we love coming together to raise money and awareness for causes that are important to us. This year, we are proud to be supporting The Snowdrop Project, a Sheffield-based charity that supports survivors of modern slavery and exploitation, helping them recover and rebuild their lives. We will be fundraising throughout the year through a range of exciting events, including our annual dance-a-thon, pink week, bring a boy week, raffles, and lots more! These events are a great opportunity for everyone to get involved, have fun, and make a difference. We’re looking forward to another year of bringing the Dance Soc community together to support some amazing causes! 🖤💛

Socials
Our social secs say...
As social secs, we will be organising a range of events for everyone this year - all dance abilities welcome! Every Wednesday we have our bar crawls in fun costumes, everyone is welcome whether you want to drink or not! We also have sober socials throughout the year which are a great way to get to know each other better. At Christmas we have our annual meal, and we have our summer ball at the end of the year. All of these are a good way to make friends and make the most of dance society! We look forward to seeing you 🖤💛

Our tour secs say...
Tour is hands-down one of the highlights of the Dance Soc year! It’s the ultimate party holiday and a great opportunity to make the best memories with the society. Whether you’ve been dancing for years or just started this semester, it is a completely inclusive trip open to every single member, regardless of your style or experience level. We spend 4 nights over the Easter break partying it up in another country, with a different dress-up theme for each night (think of it as a 5-day long Wednesday social😉)! From clubbing to chilling by the pool, there are plenty of drinking and sober options for everyone. It’s all about having fun, making new friends, and coming together as one big Dance Soc family. So get ready for an unforgettable trip - we can’t wait to share it with you all! 🖤💛
